Well, we also had a project based on our experience of that day. The prompt was just that simple - create your interpretation of the day or map. It was completely open-ended. I ended up making a simple illustration of the route my group took for the whole scavenger hunt, being held up by pigeons, because lately when I look at Rome all I see is pigeons. (And I think they are adorable & beautiful. I'm going to become the pigeon lady.) So here is the map I made, with pen, watercolor, and colored pencil:
